Sophie-listened well but poor body language. She often rested her head on her arms and didn't look interested. She interrupted quite a bit sometimes doodled. Otherwise she had good passages and questions.

Leo-Had good questions and was eager to share. I don't recall him interrupting anybody. He was obviously restraining bad body language and interrupting the speaker. His facial expression tells you that he is bored and would rather be somewhere else.

Sonja-Excellent body and facial expression. I think she just does it naturally. Excellent passages and questions. participated without being asked. Outstanding!

2010 post

My 4 resolutions for 2010 are 1, get more friends because as friends leave you get less of them so its only common sense that you invest in more. My second resolution is to get stronger. I want to get stronger because you can fight off bully's. Lastly I want to donate money to nature, the poor, etc.

It was my first day back on the snowboard and I was so exited! I loved the smell of fresh air and chilly weather after the long airplane. As I stretched I started to look for good runs and kickers. We did a warm up run and it felt good to be back on a snowboard. We pasted much more powder than last year but it was only a warm up run so I decided to go calmly. There was so much to do and only 6 days to do it in!

We went to the jump park and I found myself flying off kickers and doing grinds. The jump park is my favorite place to be because there is everything there that you need to do some wicked trick. It is also my favorite place because nobody can accuse you of being a show off because everybody there is only doing better. My favorite trick is a front side grab because it is easy and cool.

I also went on Etherolla, the hardest run on the mountain. What I loved about Etherolla was how it wasn't very icy even though it is insanely steep. I also liked that it was a long run so the fun lasted for longer. It even had its own chair lift! I didn't like how if you accidentally fell and landed on you butt (or face) you would fall down the hill until you hit something. These are my great snowboarding adventures for 2010!

last 2009 post

I have done well in math and i have made more freinds. I have acheved most of my goals so far. Middle school is fun and it has been fun doing it.

I've lerned how to find out your birthday of the week. I also lerned about Mesipotainia. Who knew that there were empires back in 1000 B.C.E? I have lerned what a ziggurat is (not that I knew what it was earlier). Now I know how to convert decimals to fraction and viceo verso.

I want to learn how to stay focused. It drives me crazy how I get distracted by the slightest sound, movement, ect. I also want to be a faster worker. I don't like it when I start 5 minuits before some one and they still over take me. I want to be a faster runner too.

I want to get better at staying focused. I want to finish work faster and get better grades. I want to be able to run faster and do better at sports. I want to make more friends and keep old friends.

This book was ok because he keaped saying "the secret" over & over & over again and got boring.

My favorite part was when the skunk farted on Brian! It was so funny! They should add more parts like that to the story.

I think the message of the story is that you can do anything if you bileive in yourself.

I actualy like it because you get less HW when you do it. You should make it due on Friday!

Brian started as a city boy who was all worked up about his parents devorce. However, now the book doesn't even talk about the devorce. Now brian is too busy to even think about it. Now he has to worry about animals, tornados and other things like that. luckly, in the end, he gets saved and its a big "HollyWood" ending.

Today Kaelen was off task and was not focused. He had 1 sentence passages and answers to questions. On a 1-10 work rate he would get a 2!
Angelika (Angie) did very well today. She had great passages, questions and answers. She did was always on task or trying to get Kaelen on task. She was obviously trying really hard on her passages because each one was about 7-10 sentences long! On a 1-10 work scale she would get a 9!
Sonia was not as good as she was last week all though she still worked really hard. When I listened to her passages, they were so good but when I looked there was only 3 sentences written and it surprised me. All the other things she did were just as good and some better. If there was one thing she could improve on is to stop getting burried in her notes because she cant multitask so well. On a 1-10 scale she would get a 9!

Today Sonia whent crazy taking notes to ensure a great blog post. She did realy well in supporting her answers and passges. She was alwas on task taking notes on every second we spoke. i think she deservs an A++++++++++!

Ann was not so turned on today. I think she stayed up late to get her homework done because she did it by hand. However she asked very good questions. Some of them I did'nt ever thought about. Her best question was..."why did'nt Brian react when the piolt died?".
